Lord Vishnu is getting married to the Goddess of wealth, Goddess Lakshmi. He invites Lord Ganesha, along with many other Gods, to attend His wedding ceremony. However, the other Gods are unhappy about Lord Ganesha attending the wedding due to Ganesha’s ordinary attire. As a result, Lord Vishnu insists Lord Ganesha to stay back and guard the swarglok.
